Life-Saving Effort

The following article was featured in the Tyler Morning Telegraph under "Opinions: Rants, Raves and Roses."

ROSES: I want Tyler residents to know how fortunate they are to have Dr. Jon Ledlie and the East Texas Medical Center radiology department available to them. We live in southern New Mexico and were experiencing difficulty in the diagnosis of my husband's spinal problem.

With assistance from family in Tyler, we were referred to East Texas Medical Center radiology department and through them to Dr. Ledlie, who provided life-saving diagnosis on the basis of MRI images and numerous doctors' notes.

All this without physically seeing my husband.

As a result of Dr. Ledlie's diagnosis and suggestions to our local physician, my husband was successfully treated in Albuquerque for a serious infection that could have cost him his life.
