Tyler Neurosurgical Associates proudly celebrates our founder, Dr. Ronald J. Donaldson, who was honored at the annual Neuro Focus Neuroscience Symposium, now named in his honor.
Elmer G. Ellis, President & CEO of the East Texas Medical Center (ETMC) Regional Healthcare System, recognized Dr. Donaldson's pivotal role in bringing neurosurgery to East Texas. Joining ETMC Tyler in 1972, Dr. Donaldson was instrumental in developing the hospital’s Neurological Institute and founding Tyler Neurosurgical Associates. He continues to serve on the board of ETMC Regional Healthcare System.
The Donaldson Neuroscience Symposium, held each spring, gathers leading experts in neurology and neurosurgery, offering area physicians valuable insights into the latest advancements in neurological care.
